Boat Captain

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage vessels, crew, and passengers.
• Responsible for all operations while onboard vessels and ensure guest and vessel needs are met.
• Oversee maintenance of the assigned vessel.
• Supervise the daily activities of vessel staff.
• Maintain accurate vessel log books.
• Ensure that tours follow routes determined on tour day.
• Establish quality crew interaction with guests regarding safety procedures, tour information, vessel information and environmental data.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and detail-oriented skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess USCG Masters License 100 GT with waterway designation to match area’s needs.
• Must possess Transportation Workers Identification Card.
