Build Something From the Ground UpThis is not a typical Controller role.
We’re partnering with a growing organization in the agriculture sector that is launching a brand-new facility in the Seward, Nebraska area—and they’re hiring a Financial Controller to help build the accounting function from the ground up.
This is a newly created role, not a backfill. You won’t be inheriting someone else’s systems—you’ll be helping design, implement, and own them.

- Ownership & Autonomy – You will be the go-to person for all things accounting at this site
- Owning all accounting operations for the facility
- Ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, GL, etc.)
- Implementing and improving internal controls
- Leading month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Supporting audit activities
- Overseeing a small team (AP, payroll/HR, admin)
- Partnering with leadership and contributing to financial visibility and decision-making
- Working within a new ERP environment being implemented
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- ~4+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Experience with ERP systems (any platform)
- Exposure to manufacturing, operations, or cost accounting is a plus
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into leadership
- A Controller who wants more ownership and impact
- A Senior Accountant ready to step up into a leadership role

- $85,000 – $135,000 base salary (depending on experience)
