Financial Controller​/Plant Controller

We're conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing dairy processing company that's launching a brand-new manufacturing facility in Seward, Nebraska.

This is a newly created position where you'll have the opportunity to help build the financial infrastructure of the operation before production reaches full capacity. Rather than inheriting years of established processes, you'll work alongside executive leadership and plant operations to help shape how finance supports the business from day one.

Build from the beginning.

Help establish the accounting function, reporting structure, financial controls, costing processes, and systems that will support a growing manufacturing operation.

This isn't a corporate accounting role. You'll work closely with plant leadership, helping translate financial information into better operational decisions.

You'll have regular interaction with executive leadership while helping build one of the company's newest manufacturing facilities.

As the company expands, so will this position. The long-term opportunity could naturally evolve into broader manufacturing finance or senior financial leadership.

• Overall financial leadership for the facility
• Month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Inventory accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
• ERP implementation, optimization, and ongoing process improvement
• Building scalable accounting processes as production continues to ramp
• Leading and developing a small accounting and administrative team
• Partnering closely with operations to improve financial performance, reporting, and decision-making

• Enjoy working alongside operations instead of sitting in a corporate office
• Like building systems and improving processes rather than simply maintaining existing ones
• Have experience leading finance within a manufacturing environment

We're especially interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in one or more of the following environments:

• Aseptic or UHT manufacturing
• Food and beverage manufacturing

The strongest candidates will likely have experience as a Plant Controller, Manufacturing Controller, Operations Finance Manager, Plant Finance Manager, Manufacturing Accounting Manager, or Financial Controller within a manufacturing operation.

• Target compensation around $150,000
