Wastewater Treatment/Sanitary System Operator
$23.75 to $31.59/hr
The City of Seward is constructing a new $50+ million wastewater treatment facility expected to be completed by the end of 2028. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Wastewater Treatment/Sanitary System Operator to operate the new facility and its systems.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the City’s wastewater pre-treatment and treatment system, including facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Perform daily care and maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operation of wastewater treatment processes.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environmental conditions.
- Must meet minimum employment requirements.
