Financial Controller – Build Operation Ground

We’re partnering with a growing organization in the agriculture sector to hire a Financial Controller for a brand-new facility being built in the Seward, NE area.

This is a newly created role
, not a backfill.

You won’t be inheriting someone else’s processes—you’ll be helping design, implement, and own the accounting function from day one

• Full ownership of accounting operations for the facility
• Financial reporting accuracy (P&L, balance sheet, general ledger)
• Internal controls and process development
• Month‑end close and reconciliations
• Audit support and financial integrity
  
  Leadership of a small team (AP, payroll/HR, admin)
• Partnering with leadership on financial visibility and performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (preferred)
• ~4+ years of accounting/finance experience (flexible for strong candidates)
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• ERP system experience (implementation exposure is a plus)
• Manufacturing, operational, or cost accounting exposure preferred
• Leadership experience—or the desire and ability to grow into it

• $85,000 – $135,000 base salary (depending on experience)
