What You'll DoAs the HR Specialist, you will support many of the day-to-day functions that keep our workforce engaged and our Human Resources operations running smoothly, including:
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug testing, credential verification, and new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
- Track employee certifications, licenses, mandatory training, and renewal deadlines.
- Coordinate annual compliance training and continuing education records.
- Support employee recognition, appreciation, wellness, and engagement initiatives.
- Assist with planning employee events and recognition programs.
- Manage employee housing assignments, move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and related documentation.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment processes.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Support recruitment activities as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve the employee experience.
We're seeking someone who is:
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented

- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong in written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR information systems
- Passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Two or more years of Human Resources, administrative, or employee support experience preferred.
- Experience with personnel records, compliance, credential tracking, or employee relations is highly desirable.
- Experience in healthcare or nonprofit organizations is a plus.
