8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half‑hour lunch, Monday through Friday (some weekend and overtime during peak harvest season).

• Support operations activities for the Nebraska soybean breeding program.
• Work in a team of technicians under the supervision of full‑time employees.
• Harvest preparation.
• Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hand harvest of soybean.
• Machine and single head threshing.
• Seed processing.
• Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word.
• Work both outdoors and indoors in variable conditions, with potential exposure to sun, heat, dust, and insects.

• Agronomy, horticulture, biology, and/or crop experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs.
• Basic computing skills to use Microsoft Office applications.

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour
