Responsibilities
- Manage the project quality roadmap and ensure quality and cost targets are met for both customer and Valeo.
- Define and monitor the project’s quality cost.
- Track customer milestones and report any risks or roadblocks, escalating to project governance as required.
- Ensure Clean Project Management (CPM) processes are followed.
- Adhere to build-in quality standards by using the SPPC tracking sheet, following SPPC identification procedures, and transferring SPPC data to suppliers via VRFs.
- Challenge other project team members on their activities to maintain quality standards.
- Focus on design and change: incorporate product and process innovations into DFMEA, PFMEA, and DV&PV.
- Verify that limited logical cuts (LLCs) are applied in D/P FMEAs to reduce RPN.
- After design freeze, ensure the 4M matrix is respected for product or process changes and secure customer awareness and approval per the matrix.
- Update quality documents following any product or process change.
- Participate in design reviews, including suppliers and tool makers.
- Revise the control plan after issues or test results.
- Support supplier management activities for both internal and external parts, coordinating with Purchasing and SQA teams per the Quality RASIC.
- Collect supplier issues and alternative proposals to integrate best practices.
- Obtain timely customer validation of Initial Sample (IS).
- Define prototype, pre‑serial, and serial control plans as milestone owners.
- Ensure consistency between SPPC, FMEA, and control plan documents.
- Participate in pre‑FDPR and FDPR activities.
- Prepare IS deliverables and initial sample files, obtaining approval from the Site Quality Manager before presenting to the customer.
- Apply QRQC rules and ensure the project team uses QRQC materials and processes.
- Maintain a single list of issues in QRQC and manage them throughout the project.
- Enforce QRQC rules, applying corrective actions at the first sign of disagreement or no compliance.
- Initiate a VIM incident when DV or PV test failures occur.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in quality management.
Full‑time, permanent contract. Project Quality P0/P1/P2 in a global automotive supplier environment.
