• Maintain all utilities including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, backup generators, and ground maintenance.
• Complete health and safety binder requirements, including daily and weekly sign‑off logs.
• Train and supervise other Facilities and Maintenance Technicians on routine and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance work and appointments with outside vendors and contractors.
• Conduct periodic facility walk‑throughs and document necessary repairs to meet Newport Healthcare standards.
• Perform water temperature checks and sprinkler system pressure/water level recordings.
• Install new equipment and assist with facility upgrades.
• Perform emergency repairs to prevent and resolve health and safety issues.
• Ensure work is completed promptly with limited disruption to programming and staff.
• Maintain clear walkways, entrances, and grounds during inclement weather.
• Prioritize tasks based on health and safety compliance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of facilities maintenance experience.
• One year of experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician.
• Healthcare facility experience preferred.
