Job Overview

Marmon Utility LLC is looking for experienced operators to run compound machinery and process raw materials into rubber and plastic compounds for cable coating on a production line.

• Abides by all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of oneself and others.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Mechanically sets up equipment per operating requirements.
• Monitors raw material supply to ensure continuous operation and communicates discrepancies.
• Performs measurements with company‑approved measuring devices to meet required specifications.
• Verifies that measuring devices are calibrated.
• Visually inspects material throughout all processes and takes appropriate action as needed.
• Maintains accurate record keeping of all pertinent information required by Kerite, including work center records.
• Participates in scheduled team meetings and contributes to continuous improvement.
• Participates in maintaining ISO certification.

• High school degree or GED required.
• Experienced with measuring devices applicable to the industry.
• Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic line problems.
• Experience in the wire & cable industry a plus but not required.
• Ability to train other employees when required.
• Read measurement tools, gauges and other related precision tools; read and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Hourly range $20.00 – $25.00.
• Full‑time employment type.
