Paint Shop Laborer-Assembler

Our client is a highly respected Sheet Metal Fabrication Manufacturing Company in the Seymour Area! We are looking to add to our busy team.

The paint shop Helper will be responsible for applying powder coatings to steel components and assemblies, ensuring quality finish that meets company standards and client Specifications. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a Manufacturing or Fabrication work enviornment.

• Prepare product/parts and mask hardware for paint.
• Hang and remove product/parts from the powder coating line.
• General Assembly work, place labels, insert hardware, some use of power tools.
• Prepare and pack finished goods to be shipped.
• Coordinate with department Supervisor to ensure the applicable work orders are being addressed.
• Move product to and from different areas as needed, the use of manual hand trucks and hydraulic assisted hand trucks.
• Maintain a clean work area and keep up supplies needed to complete daily work, other duties as assinged.

Prefers HS diploma or GED, one year of manufacturing experience.

• Employee must be able to lift frequently and move, lift up to 50 pounds, anything over 50 lbs will require a team lift. Standing, bending, use of hands, fingers.

• 9:30 to 6:00 p.m. Monday
  -Friday
• Pay: $18.00 per hour, direct Industrual painting experinece would pay more.
