Service Technician III

Securitas Technology is seeking a Service Technician III to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced electronic security and life safety systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection for commercial and enterprise clients. Responsibilities include performing site surveys, configuring systems and networks, completing preventative maintenance, documenting service activities, and training end users. The role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, strong customer communication, collaboration with engineering and project teams, and mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service electronic security and life safety systems
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on video, access control, and intrusion platforms
• Conduct site surveys and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Complete preventative maintenance and system upgrades to ensure reliability
• Document service activities, test results, and materials used in service reports
• Provide technical support and training to end users on system operation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards on every job site
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and monitoring teams on complex issues
• Maintain inventory, tools, and company vehicle in good working order
• Mentor and support junior technicians in field best practices
