Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm;
Saturday 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

Job Summary

The Yard and Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including loading and unloading materials, maintaining organized inventory, assisting customers and drivers, and ensuring the yard remains safe and efficient. This role requires a dependable individual who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors while handling construction materials and operating equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks with construction materials using forklifts and other equipment.
  • Assist customers, contractors, and drivers with locating and loading materials.
  • Organize and maintain yard inventory to ensure materials are properly stored and accessible.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and warehouse environment.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying quantities and product quality.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Support team members and management with general warehouse and yard duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, yard, or construction material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred (certification is a plus).
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace organization.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
