Position OverviewSchneck Medical Center is seeking a Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst to support enterprise analytics across clinical, operational, financial, and quality domains. While Schneck’s enterprise reporting strategy centers on MEDITECH Expanse and Business & Clinical Analytics (BCA), this role requires a broad understanding of healthcare data and how information flows across an integrated health system.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical analytics skills, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insights that support patient care, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and support dashboards and reports across enterprise analytics platforms, with a primary focus on MEDITECH Business & Clinical Analytics (BCA)
- Develop and maintain ETL processes integrating data from clinical, operational, financial, and ancillary systems
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data standards and governance practices
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and administrative stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into analytics solutions
- Support analytics related to quality, access, throughput, financial performance, and regulatory reporting
- Participate in post-go-live optimization and continuous improvement of analytics workflows
- Adhere to data security, privacy, and HIPAA requirements
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI database development
- Experience with ETL development and data integration
- Ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
- Healthcare analytics experience across clinical, operational, quality, or financial domains
- Experience working with enterprise EHR/EMR data (e.g., MEDITECH, Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Experience with modern analytics platforms, data warehouses, or healthcare reporting tools
- Strong understanding of healthcare data workflows and dependencies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Contribute to enterprise-wide analytics that support patient care and operational excellence
- Work in a collaborative environment that values data governance and standardization
