This seasonal position will be working with the INDOT contract certification process within the Testing Department, which will require Computer and Organization skills.

This position is located in INDOT’s Seymour District.

This position pays an hourly rate of $18.00.

• Performs material testing at District and/or Area Testing Labs
• Collects material samples from field locations
• Transports samples to/from various INDOT laboratories
• Assists Technicians during inspections and audits.
• Performs miscellaneous labor tasks.

• Valid high school diploma or GED preferred; or one (1) year of work experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
• Candidate will be required to submit to and pass a drug test as a condition of employment.

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
