Part-time General Labor position in the North Vernon area!

Part-Time General Labor Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 16.71 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

• Choose your hours either work 7a-11a or 11a-3pm Mon-Fri
• Safely operate industrial shredders, compactors, & balers.
• Feed materials into machines at a consistent rate, clear minor jams, & accurately tie off or wrap completed bales
• Continuously collect scrap paper & other recyclable materials from production areas and machine centers.
• Efficiently stage materials to prevent congestion and ensure a smooth production flow.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the baler room, loading dock, & surrounding plant floor by sweeping & removing loose debris.
• Empty trash containers & assist with general industrial cleaning tasks as required.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform duties that require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, & the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Part-Time General Labor

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, & communicate effectively in English.
• Proven physical stamina & the ability to meet listed lifting requirements.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment jams, performing routine pre-start machine inspections
• Previous experience in a factory setting or Janitorial role.
• Familiarity with industrial balers, shredders, or similar machinery

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
