Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU position with 12-hour night shifts and floating requirements.
Responsibilities- Hospital ICU setting with a total of 7 beds
- Nurse to patient ratio of 2:1 and 1:1
- Works 12-hour night shifts, including weekends
- Expected to float to all departments within competency, including Med Surg as needed
- Equipment used includes Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech EMR, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, and NICOM
- Provide high-quality, efficient, and safe nursing care to critically ill patients
- Collaborate and coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Professional nurse dress code is required
- Orientation includes 8 non-billable hours
- Local pay rates apply within 80 miles of the facility
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
