• Unit/Setting:
  Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 7‑bed unit
• Shift: 12‑hour shifts (days and nights); weekends required
• Hours:
  
  36 scheduled hours/week; 34.5 guaranteed hours/week (30‑minute unpaid breaks)
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 1:1 depending on acuity
• Floating:
  May float to all departments as needed; must be willing to float to Med Surg

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN /
  critical care nursing experience
• License:
  Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• Certifications:
  
  AHA BLS
  , AHA ACLS
  , NIHSS
• Travel Readiness:
  Prior travel nurse experience required
• Scheduling Flexibility:
  Able to support weekend coverage and rotating day/night scheduling as needed; comfortable floating (including to Med Surg) as needed
• Professional Standards:
  Professional nurse dress and strong commitment to safe, evidence‑based patient care

• Perform comprehensive ICU patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Deliver high‑quality, safe ICU nursing care aligned with unit protocols, standards of care, and best practices
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust interventions to support expected patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Document and communicate patient status, response to interventions, and progress toward expected outcomes to support coordinated care
• Utilize ICU technology and systems including Meditech charting,
  Omnicell
  , Philips monitors
  , Alaris IV pumps
  , NICOM
  , and Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler
• Float to other departments (including Med Surg) as needed; you will not be asked to perform tasks outside your demonstrated competency
