Seymour, IN 47274 - Pay Rate: $87.00–$97.00/hour
- Start Date:
March 12, 2026 - End Date:
June 11, 2026 - Contract Length: 13-week travel contract
- Unit/Setting:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 7‑bed unit - Shift: 12‑hour shifts (days and nights); weekends required
- Hours:
36 scheduled hours/week; 34.5 guaranteed hours/week (30‑minute unpaid breaks) - Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 1:1 depending on acuity
- Floating:
May float to all departments as needed; must be willing to float to Med Surg
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN /
critical care nursing experience - License:
Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license - Certifications:
AHA BLS
, AHA ACLS
, NIHSS - Travel Readiness:
Prior travel nurse experience required - Scheduling Flexibility:
Able to support weekend coverage and rotating day/night scheduling as needed; comfortable floating (including to Med Surg) as needed - Professional Standards:
Professional nurse dress and strong commitment to safe, evidence‑based patient care
- Perform comprehensive ICU patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Deliver high‑quality, safe ICU nursing care aligned with unit protocols, standards of care, and best practices
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust interventions to support expected patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Document and communicate patient status, response to interventions, and progress toward expected outcomes to support coordinated care
- Utilize ICU technology and systems including Meditech charting,
Omnicell
, Philips monitors
, Alaris IV pumps
, NICOM
, and Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler - Float to other departments (including Med Surg) as needed; you will not be asked to perform tasks outside your demonstrated competency
