Pay: $20.50/hr.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm

Summary

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all bicycles and components meet Guardian Bikes’ safety, quality, and performance standards before leaving the production floor. This role is responsible for inspecting parts, assemblies, and finished bikes to verify compliance with company specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect decals, components, and finished bicycles for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks on bikes and components.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
  • Identify and tag non-conforming products; work with production and supervisors to address issues.
  • Ensure bikes meet all safety standards before shipping to customers.
  • Monitor assembly processes to confirm adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by reporting recurring issues or suggesting process improvements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in quality control, inspection in manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle bicycle components safely.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs.).
  • Exposure to standard manufacturing noise and equipment.
