We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installations with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in various electrical tasks, including reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services in both residential and light commercial settings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee all electrical work in compliance with state and local electrical codes.
• Perform residential service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues or replacements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
• Complete all estimates and notes in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain properly clean and stocked service vehicle.
• Participate in periodic inventory and truck inspections.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use all tools in a safety conscious manner.
• Explain the service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Document Price Book task codes on all invoices for each diagnostic, repair, and installation performed.
• Call in for POs for any materials picked up at suppliers and send pick tickets into Purchasing department.
• Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.
• Maximize lead opportunities based on company's business plan.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
• Always maintain a professional image.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience for Licensed Journeyman Electrician

• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years verifiable residential electrical service experience
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic cost estimating
• Strong oral and reading skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficient multitasking and adaptability
• Team player with positive attitude
• Ability to use smartphone and iPad
