We have a position for an experienced embedded software engineer to calibrate and validate genset features.

What you will be doing:
  • Responsible to own and maintain the following functions in new programs. This shall include calibration, validation and review for release. This could also include INSITE tool integrator support as needed.
  • Datalinks
  • Actuators
  • Engine Protection functions
  • This role would also involve testing on open/closed loop bench, Test cell and remote monitoring of a test cell.
  • This role involves cross functional work, so clarity in communication is a necessity.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following areas:
  • Electronics OR controls background
  • Embedded C Software development
  • Matlab Simulink development and Simulink simulation
  • Datalinks
  • Object-oriented design and real-time embedded software
  • Critical thinking
  • Good communicator - written and verbal

What you'll need to be successful:
  • College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines. Mechanical Engineering degree HIGHLY preferred as well as 2 or more years of hands-on experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of the internal combustion engines
  • Embedded C Software experience is required
  • Matlab SIMULINK experience is desired
  • Experience in communicating and presenting technical content with external customers preferred.
  • PTC Integrity/Windchill RV&S experience is highly desired
  • Motivated
  • Critical thinker
  • Good communicator - written and verbal
