Position: Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

  • Earn $27.50 per hour with overtime after 10 hours
  • Ten‑thousand dollar retention bonus

You will drive
  • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort
  • Equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras for safety
What you will do
  • Transport automobile parts on dedicated routes
  • No touch freight
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday with various start times
  • Occasional weekend work is required
  • Home daily

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required, with U.S. domicile and state license
  • Current or ability to obtain a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • 3 year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
  • English language proficiency meeting federal law requirements
  • Work required schedule, location, complete Penske application, background investigation, drug screening
  • Role regulated by the Department of Transportation or safety‑sensitive designation; ability to maintain constant state of alertness
Physical Requirements
  • Must see and hear; close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and adjust focus
  • Perform frequent movement: stand, walk, sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
