We are looking for Distribution Associates to work weekend shift in the North Vernon area.

Weekend Distribution Associate Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.28 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday from 05:30am to 06:00pm)

• Grasp, lift, carry, & move heavy &/or bulky merchandise by hand, from floor to overhead, weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Utilize Laser Radio Terminal (LRT) to accurately receive, process, stock, select, & audit merchandise, verifying accuracy at each step.
• Operate distribution computer systems as required to efficiently control & track merchandise flow.
• Safely operate non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, & load heavy/large merchandise for shipment to retail stores.
• Manually place & remove selected merchandise onto/from conveyors, racks, pallets, & into/out of boxes during processing.
• Efficiently load & unload trailers by hand, stacking merchandise
• Consistently meet or exceed established safety, accuracy, attendance, & production standards for all assignments.
• Observe & identify any manufacturer defects or damage on incoming & outgoing merchandise.
• Handle all merchandise with care & precision to prevent damage during processing and movement.

Weekend Distribution Associate

Qualifications:

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds throughout the shift.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for this fixed schedule.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written communication).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or general distribution setting.
• Experience operating an RF scanner.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Familiarity with pick/pack operations.
