STAFF ACCOUNTANT – GROWER ACCOUNTING

LOCATION: PREMIER (SHAFTER, CA.)

SHIFT: DAY

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Staff Accountant – Grower Accounting responsible for supporting the financial accounting and reporting of grower-related activities. This role focuses on grower settlements, contract accounting, and cost tracking from harvest through pack-out. The position ensures accurate and timely processing of grower transactions while partnering with operations to maintain data integrity across systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in high-volume, data-intensive environments.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Professional demeanor with ability to interact at all organizational levels.
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.

• Agriculture, produce, or cost accounting experience.
• SQL or data querying experience.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Total Rewards: $70,304-$80,000 / YEAR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
