California (Travel Required) Duration: 4–6 Month Contract (Potential Extension) Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2
Schedule:
Variable field schedule with multi-day travel assignments (typically 3–7 days at a time)
We are seeking Pumping Crew Field Technicians to support onshore oil & gas operations across California. This role involves traveling with the pumping crew to customer sites, assisting with field operations, equipment support, and maintaining safe work practices in dynamic field environments. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel, physically demanding work conditions, and short-notice deployment schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Support pumping crew operations at oil & gas field locations
- Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of field equipment
- Perform general field support duties during pumping operations
- Assist with equipment loading/unloading and site preparation
- Work closely with supervisors and field teams to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain communication with team members during travel assignments
- Participate in required safety and operational training programs
- Travel to various customer sites throughout California for multi-day assignments
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 1+ year of oil & gas or related field experience preferred
- Ability to travel frequently for 3–7 day assignments
- Comfortable working in outdoor and physically demanding environments
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move equipment/materials safely
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass required pre-screening processes
