Class A Driver; Environmental Division

Remedial Transportation Services is seeking a Class A Driver to perform various routes. This position does require overnight travel for the week. You will typically depart on Sunday and return Friday. You will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites to other facilities such as Disposal Landfills. You will be working within the parameters of a DOT Driver and maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Physical Demands:

Typical 14 hour shift to include light smartphone usage (Form Submissions and E-Log). To perform the duties of this job employee must have the ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, reach, squat, stoop and twist. Must also have the ability to carry, lift, pull, and push 0-100+ lbs., with repetitive movement of both hands. Employee must also drive a vehicle and move equipment.

Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. Some positions also require a pre-hire medical exam. Must meet all work eligibility requirements.

• Excellent working knowledge of the transportation of hazardous materials
• Class A CDL with HAZMAT (additional Endorsements are encouraged)
• 3+ years driving experience and a good driving record
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
• Wearing a respirator may be required while performing certain functions of this job
