Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated local opportunity based in Shafter, California
.

This is a home-daily position hauling dedicated retail freight throughout Southern California. Drivers average approximately 1,400 miles per week and typically make 2–3 stops per route , followed by a backhaul returning to the distribution center.

This position offers consistent dedicated freight, home daily, newer automatic equipment, and a compensation package that includes mileage band pay, stop pay, detention pay, and a safe & on-time bonus

Pay varies based on driver experience, length of haul, miles, stops, and applicable compensation programs. Weekly earnings are not guaranteed.

• Home daily
• Typically 2 consecutive days off per week
• Days off may generally fall on:
  • Monday/Tuesday
  • Tuesday/Wednesday
  • Wednesday/Thursday
  • Thursday/Friday
• Weekend availability is required/expected
• Primary dispatch window is approximately 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Drivers must be flexible with assigned schedules

Reliable transportation is required to report to and from the distribution center for assigned shifts.

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of qualifying CDL-A experience
• Must meet applicable DOT and carrier qualification requirements
• Must be comfortable with a local dedicated operation
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Must be flexible with days off and assigned schedules
• Must be comfortable operating dry van and reefer equipment
• Must be dependable and safety-focused
• Must be able to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations

This position requires weekend availability and typically provides two consecutive weekdays off rather than guaranteed Saturday/Sunday time off.

Most loads depart during the 3:00 PM–9:00 PM dispatch window , so drivers should be comfortable with afternoon and evening starts.

The operation uses slip-seat equipment , and trucks must remain at the distribution center when not assigned.
