Senior Accountant – Financial Analyst

• Analyze financial statements
• Perform GAAP analysis and technical investigation of accounting issues
• Perform complex account reconciliations, including key accounts
• Post journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements
• Prepare budgets
• Compile statistics
• Learn and use accounting and billing systems
• Create new Oracle reports as needed
• Train new hires in systems and methods
• Lead department projects
• Represent the department in interdisciplinary meetings
• Respond to audit requests
• Analyze budget variances
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards
• Safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in accounting, business, or related field (Required)
• 5+ years Accounting experience (Required)
• Critical Thinking Skills (Required proficiency)
• Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability (Required proficiency)
• Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills (Required proficiency)
• Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment (Required proficiency)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required proficiency)
• Strong ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and general office equipment (Required proficiency)
• 10% travel
• Must abide by requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Master's Degree in Business (Preferred)
• Oracle experience (Preferred proficiency)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, GAAP compliance, and complex account reconciliations while effectively managing budgets and audit requests. Proficient in Oracle reporting and maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI) with strong communication and critical thinking skills.
