Duties will include, but are not limitedto the management of all bar and service staff, as well as management of inventory and supplies.
Job Duties:
- Supervisesandleadsthe Service Teamtoexceedthemember ’sserviceexpectations.
- Worksinconjunctionwiththe Culinary Teamtomakesurequalitystandardsarebeingmet .
- Responsible for overall cleanliness and organization of all dining rooms, dining porches, and service storage areas.
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Specials Events and Catering to maintain par levels oflinen – orders linen as needed.
- Routinechecksonall Serviceequipment.
- Leadspre-shiftandpost-shiftmeetingstoproperlyadministercurrentnews,policies,orchanges.
- Speaks to and handles all Service complaints, issues or comments in a professional and helpfulway.
- As a Food and Beverage Management Team, responsible for all hiring and terminations, performance evaluations, and overall management of all Service Team members.
- Responsible for creating new and strengthening existing Club events to maintain an active,energetic, andengagingscheduleofevents.
- Expected to have awell-detailed onboarding Training Program and to maintain a consistentcontinuous trainingprogramtoensureourteamisfullyprepared.
- Recommends capital equipment upgrades and supplies that would enhance the Ala Carte experience – develops a purchasing plan after researching all options,may assist with the purchase of the equipment – approval by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Overseesthecomplianceofall Clubrulesandpolicies.
- Responsibleforunderstandingthe Club’swebsite,developmentofeventfliers,Club App,andpoint ofsalessystem.
- Suggestsnewcreative Club Eventsandactivelypromotes Club Eventsinthediningrooms .
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage/Assistant General Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A four-year college degree in Hospitality/Event Planning is not required, but preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred, private country club experience is abonus.
- Experience with Jonas Operating System is not required, but preferred.
- Self-discipline,creative,andself-motivated.
- Professionalappearanceatalltimesthatisappropriateforatraditionalprivatecountryclub.
