Grocery Associate

Location:

Shaker Heights, OH, US

Schedule:

Part-time, up to 29 hours per week (typically 4 days a week, 8:00‑8:30 pm, hours may vary)

Salary: $13.00 to $21.00 per hour annually

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
  • Acquire and share knowledge of the Grocery Department.
  • Write orders using effective pars and planning.
  • Work as a team to complete daily tasks such as scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
  • Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
  • Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
  • Compliance with all company policies and standards.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Production driven, able to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work the required hours and occasionally additional time for business needs.
  • Willingness to work non‑traditional five‑day work schedules, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.
  • Exposure to extreme conditions, hot or cold, is occasional.
