Must have

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field
  • 12 years of combined experience in product management and professional services
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management
  • Ability to create and execute product strategies
  • Experience in developing pricing and profitability models
  • Proficiency in research and analyzing market opportunities and competitors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Skills in recruiting, managing, and developing team members
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the product lifecycle and manage the product lines P&L, ensuring revenue goals, gross margin, and operating income are achieved
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives by conducting market research and competitive analysis
  • Create and refine sales and marketing presentations requiring specialized technical knowledge
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product issues
  • Generate new product ideas and visions through direct engagement with target markets and clients
  • Attend trade shows and interact with sales personnel to gather market insights
  • Contribute to technology and product roadmap planning
  • Develop comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives, including financial assessments and market analysis
  • Define target markets, customer segments, and product positioning strategies
  • Establish product specifications, including pricing, performance targets, and reliability features
  • Choose appropriate sales channels for reaching designated markets
  • Formulate product launch strategies and marketing collateral development
  • Initiate sales promotions and create incentive programs
  • Prepare technical databases to support proposal processes
  • Deliver product and market training to sales teams
  • Monitor product introduction budgets and ensure a smooth transition to manufacturing
  • Evaluate profit and loss metrics, implement cost-saving measures, and analyze inventory levels
  • Identify and strategize for new target markets and product expansion opportunities
  • Recruit, select, and develop staff while managing hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
