The Shakopee School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE, Center-Based Special Education (SpEd) Teacher to serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) at the middle school level (grades 6-8) for the  school year.

Deliver direct and indirect services to students with learning and/or social, emotional and behavioral needs; monitor and document student progress; develop/manage IEPs and facilitate team meetings; oversee paraprofessionals and collaborate with families and other staff on services and strategies.

• Current and valid MN teaching license in ASD, EBD, DCD or ABS

Salary can range anywhere between $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.

Physical ability to attend to personal care needs of students, if necessary. Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
