Description:
Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a fabulous English / Language Arts Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the amazing 9th Grade Academy team at Shakopee High School.Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Current MN teaching license in English/Language Arts or Communication Arts/Literature license
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
