Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a fabulous English / Language Arts Teacher (0.83 FTE) with journalism experience and a passion for inspiring students to join the amazing 9th Grade Academy team at Shakopee High School for the  school year.

Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Current MN teaching license in English/Language Arts or Communication Arts/Literature license
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary can range anywhere between $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.
