Elementary Music Teacher; LTS - FTE - Red Oak Elementary

Description

Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Long-term Substitute (LTS) to teach Music at Red Oak Elementary (with some travel to another elementary school) from approximately August 24, 2026 through November 5, 2026.

Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

• Valid MN teaching license in Classroom General Music, Vocal Music, or Elementary Education.
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Daily rate ranges from $289.00 to $403.76 depending upon education level.
