English Teacher - FTE - West Middle School

English Teacher Position

Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 1.0 FTE English Teacher to join the team at West Middle School for the  school year. Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability. Creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents. Works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

Valid MN teaching license in English / Language Arts or Communication Arts / Literature. Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction. Strong classroom management skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.
