English / Language Arts Teacher
Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a fabulous English / Language Arts Teacher (0.83 FTE) with journalism experience and a passion for inspiring students to join the amazing 9th Grade Academy team at Shakopee High School for the school year. Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth.
Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.
Qualifications:
- Current MN teaching license in English/Language Arts or Communication Arts/Literature license
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

- Salary can range anywhere between $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.
