• Deliver direct and indirect special education services to students in a resource room setting and/or co‑taught classroom.
• Monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives; follow due process and IEP procedures and manage the paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with families and staff.
• Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans and direct the work of paraprofessionals.
• Provide instruction in the content area in accordance with each student's ability.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth.
• Establish effective working relationships with students and parents, work collaboratively with other staff members.

• Valid MN teaching licensure in special education, specifically EBD, SLD, ASD or ABS.
• NVCI (CPI) training preferred.
• Experience working with a variety of disabilities and the ability to deliver specialized instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.

Salary ranges from $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.
