Description: Shakopee Public Schools is searching for an 8th Grade Science Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the amazing team at West Middle School beginning the  school year.

Job Summary: Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching license in Science 5-8
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Effective communication skills including verbal and written communication
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
