Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 1.0 FTE English Teacher to join the amazing team at West Middle School for the  school year.

• Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability
• Creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth
• Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents
• Works collaboratively with other staff members

• Valid MN teaching license in English / Language Arts or Communication Arts / Literature
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary ranges from $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.
