Shakopee Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Resource Special Education (SpEd) Teacher to serve students with special education needs at the elementary school level (grades K-5) for the school year.
Job SummaryDeliver direct and indirect services to students with learning and/or social, emotional and behavioral needs; monitor and document student progress; develop/manage IEPs and facilitate team meetings; oversee paraprofessionals and collaborate with families and other staff on services and strategies.
Qualifications- Current and valid MN teaching licensein ASD, EBD, DCD or ABS
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary can range anywhere between $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.

Physical ability to attend to personal care needs of students, if necessary. Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
