Middle Music + Band Teacher

Shakopee Area Catholic School is seeking an enthusiastic, faith-filled Middle Music + Band Teacher to inspire students through a strong middle school music program, with primary emphasis on middle school band, middle school music appreciation, and 5th grade band, while supporting our mission of nurturing the body, mind, and soul of every child.

• Teach and strengthen the middle school music program, with emphasis on band, choir, and music appreciation.
• Provide beginning band instruction for 5th grade students and help them build foundational instrumental skills.
• Lead engaging individual, small-group, and ensemble instruction for students of varying abilities.
• Foster a positive, faith-centered classroom environment.
• Collaborate with families, faculty, and school leadership to support student success.
