Responsibilities
- Drive all technical aspects of our customer qualification engagements
- Replicate, analyze, and develop solutions in concert with internal engineering teams to address customer issues
- Run tests in customer environment to validate drive/system compatibility
- Assist in post-qualification customer technical issues
- Create and present technical information to internal teams
- Work with customer account team to solidify feedback into future product requirements
- Coordinate activities of other organizations to ensure customer deliverables meet the customer expectations
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and decision‑making in daily work (e.g., analysis, documentation, communication, prioritization)
- Uses AI as a thought partner, not just an automation tool—applies judgment, validation, and domain expertise to AI‑generated outputs
- Willingness to experiment with and adopt new AI‑enabled workflows aligned with business goals
- You will have a demonstrated ability to work across multiple organizations to achieve deadlines and customer satisfaction
- You will have a high level of personal follow through on commitments
- Ability to work flexible hours to support our worldwide customers, factories, and design centers
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that develop trust between Seagate and its customers
- Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience testing and resolving concurrent, complex highly technical issues
- Project management and tracking experience
- Experience dealing with external customer or supplier
- Programming experience
- Experience with SATA, SAS, and NVMe interfaces and bus analyzers
- Storage system level experience
- Knowledge of quality systems and methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, data science/analytics, or related discipline or equivalent experience

SalaryEstimated base salary range $66,000 - $77,000
