The Pit Floor is responsible for overseeing game play, supporting and guiding dealers, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The supervisor fosters a positive, team-oriented environment, monitors compliance with all rules, procedures, and BSA requirements, and serves as a key communication link between guests, dealers, and management. With a strong presence on the card club floor, this position ensures fair play, accurate payouts, operational consistency, and a welcoming atmosphere for both new and returning players.
Responsible for supporting the Companies mission, vision, and values by providing fun and games like no place else.
- Supervise the proper performance of pit dealers by observation and by reporting to Casino Games Manager.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Extensive game knowledge and prior dealing experience.
- Must be adaptable, versatile and tactful in dealings with the public
- Reliable, pleasant personality, able to deal with difficult customers and situations.
- The ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure is essential
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Canterbury Park conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history.
- Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
