Position Overview

The finance manager plays an important role in supporting the financial health and operational success of the organization. As a trusted partner to operations and finance leadership, this role helps ensure accurate reporting, strong financial processes, and meaningful insights that support informed decision-making across the business.

This position works closely with project teams and leaders to provide timely financial information, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and improve reporting tools and processes. The finance manager will also contribute to team development, continuous improvement initiatives, and a collaborative, solutions-focused work environment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys partnering with others, solving problems, and helping teams succeed through strong financial stewardship and thoughtful communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with operations and finance leadership to support business goals and uphold company values
  • Analyze and communicate financial results, including revenue, costs, margins, and project performance
  • Provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial information to support decision-making
  • Help maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial reporting processes
  • Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and cost improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial tools, reporting, and business processes
  • Review project financials and projections to help identify risks and opportunities early
  • Assist with reviewing bidding labor rates and related agreements for financial considerations and opportunities
  • Support and mentor team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate across departments to promote accountability, continuous improvement, and shared success
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting principles
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of broader business objectives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries
