** Position Overview*
* The Technical Trainer delivers technical training courses to internal and external customers. Training assignments include instruction on hardware and software products, systems, and solutions.

* ** Responsibilities*
* ** Course Preparation - 25%*
* + Assess audience needs and deliver course curriculum that meets user and field service requirements within the product release schedule.

+ Research product information through subject matter experts, including engineering, service, and manufacturing teams, as well as hands-on learning.

+ Support the development of training materials for operator, administrator, and maintenance courses.

** Course Delivery - 75%*
* + Conduct training classes using approved curriculum, department policies, and established procedures.

+ Engage participants through an effective mix of instructional methods, including classroom presentations, skills practice, web conferencing, and multimedia self-study.

+ Conduct follow-up evaluations to measure the effectiveness of course materials and training delivery.

** Basic Qualifications*
* + Associate degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

+ 1 or more years of experience delivering technical training courses.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

+ 1 or more years of experience working with internal and external customers and managing projects.

+ Strong understanding of software principles and techniques.

+ Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

+ Ability to travel, including some international travel.

+ Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Experience with or knowledge of the card personalization industry.

+ Experience supporting Entrust products and solutions.

+ Experience developing multimedia training materials.
