Janitor 2nd shift

Position: Janitor 2nd shift (5PM to 1:30 AM)
* Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. On the job training provided.
* Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
* Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
* Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
* Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
* Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
* Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
* Cleaning windows and windowsills.
* Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
* Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
* Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
* Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
* Assist with setup of facility meetings and events.
* Other routine maintenance duties and duties as assigned.
* High school diploma or equivalent education or work experience
* Must have ability to work well with other team members, be able to take direction from Supervisor, and work independently
* Able to perform all duties listed in the responsibilities section above in order to complete general cleaning and upkeep of assigned manufacturing and/or office areas
* Proficient written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to read and understand detailed English instructions and convey same to staff both verbally and in written format.
* Able to stand, walk, and climb for entire shift
* Able to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching for entire shift
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
* Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
* Minimum of 6 months janitorial cleaning experience
* Strong service and quality attitude
* Basic computer skills
