Responsibilities
- Operate a production line, ensuring adherence to company standards for safety, a clean environment, quality, and productivity to meet customer requirements.
- Pull product, production, and quality inspections on all production work orders.
- Record batch and cure dates accurately.
- Read work orders and identify any special requirements and packaging instructions.
- Ensure line performance regarding output and uptime.
- Maintain high‑quality products by inspecting cords for defects on both raw materials and finished products.
- Pick product using forklift or cherry picker for production.
- Digitally document process and quality data.
- Ensure product is labeled appropriately and relabel when necessary.
- Operate and monitor equipment used in the production process.
- Ensure production processes remain compliant with Quality Policies and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations.
- Clean and maintain machines and equipment; return any extra material to its original location.
- Maintain all safety and 5S standards.
- Adhere to all ISO standards and participate in audits.
- High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
- High level of commitment and flexibility.
- Willingness and ability to work shifts.
- Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced and consistently changing environment.
- Ability to identify, pull, splice, and vulcanize appropriate materials per the work order.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a semi‑regular basis.
- Basic computer skills (preferred).
- Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues.
- Delivers superior value through commitment to quality, service and reliability.
- Applies and shares ideas and best practices.
- Ensures and engages in continuous improvement activities.
- Shows initiative and a positive attitude to get things done.
- Embraces challenges and demonstrates a good level of energy.
