Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly
The Welder is primarily responsible for reading, interpreting and executing routing, e-drawings, blueprint weld procedures, and process control/quality documents to TIG and MIG weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum per job specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Accurately punch in-and-out of work orders and record times and materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Source the materials used in projects.
- Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
- Review finished work to ensure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
- Maintain knowledge of various mechanical and manual welding techniques, including TIG/MIG.
- Perform other general sheet metal operations when needed, including drill and tap, hardware installation, parts separation and extrusion.
- Review dimensional characteristics and finish requirements of parts and assemblies to the requirements of the prints and quality standards.
- Conduct visual weld inspections to ensure adherence to all routing specifications and high quality.
- Collaborate with employees, operations, engineering and sales team to solve problems and recommend plans of improvement.
- Maintain a neat, orderly and safe work environment.
- Operate forklift and hand truck as needed.
- Read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D model finish symbols for welding, grinding and all related production.
- Utilize fixtures and necessary tools to successfully complete weldments.
- Utilize inspection tools to measure parts to customer specifications.
- Follow standard AWS welding safety procedures.
- Follow ISO procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Regular, reliable on-site attendance is required.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
