A state commission for horse racing is seeking qualified individuals to preside as racing stewards. The role entails overseeing live Thoroughbred and Quarter horse racing and working a minimum of five days per week, including weekends and holidays. Stewards must also ensure independence from any licensee in order to maintain compliance with regulations. The contract is approximately one year but may extend upward to four years.
